Definition of BWB

"Connecting Art, Science and Technology" is the theam of this project. Barcelona Work Box is a physical (Work Box) and virtual (Virtual Box) platform aiming at promouting the creation, diffusion and production of multidisciplinar art, ideas and activities related to the diverse expressions of the contemporary creativity.

The virtual platform (V_BOX) allows us broadcasting all over the world the activities related to our project, thanks to an innovative set of telematic systems which permits public participation and interaction through the Net (videoconference).

The Galeria Metropolitana Barcelona (promoter of he Barcelona Work Box project) will have a new exhibition space of 900 sqm in Salomó (Tarragona, Spain)

Metropolitana Salomó, is an excellent setting to develop the new stage of the Galeria Metropolitana as it is capable to hold larger and more important exhibitions. Close to technology but also to nature, Metropolitana Salomó aims at making artists and general public enjoy both nature and contemporary art.
